An icon of Paris festivity and entertainment since 1889, the Moulin Rouge is probably the most famous cabaret in the world. For over a century, it has welcomed the biggest stars of cabaret and French chanson, from Edith Piaf and Colette to Minstinguett and Jean Gabin.
Every evening, the legendary red windmill (moulin rouge in French), positioned high above the entrance, lights up the Parisian playground of Pigalle. Inside, 60 artists combine their talents in ‘Féerie’, an awe-inspiring 2-hour show of choreographed dancing filled with surprises. Before your eyes, a fantastical world will come to life. You’ll find yourself in a magical garden, on board a pirate’s ship in Indonesia, or on a journey through Paris from 1900 to the present day.
Featuring 1,000 feathered costumes, extraordinary performances, sumptuous sets, and original music, the Moulin Rouge will enchant, amaze and enthrall you. And, of course, you’ll be treated to that most emblematic of all dances, the French Cancan!
