Théâtre des Nouveautés

After a long and distinguished history in several different locations, the Théâtre des Nouveautés has established itself at its wonderful home on Boulevard Poissonnière, in the lively Les Grands Boulevards district.

Created in 1921, the theatre has been known from its beginning for an eclectic mix of operettas, satire and political plays.

Today, Théâtre des Nouveautés continues to set the tone with vaudeville and light comedies, welcomeing the best writers and actors of the genre every season.

While Pascal Legros, director since 2010, is proud to continue the history and reputation of his establishment, he also likes to explore new, more daring avenues; presenting, for example, Olivier Giraud’s one man show… entirely in English!
