A venue known for its colourful concerts, Le Trabendo is located in Parc de la Villette, the new centrepiece of Paris’s music scene, in the alternative 19th arrondissement.
Its appearance is eye-catching thanks to its rectilinear architecture, vivid colours and the celebrated ‘follies’ designed by Bernard Tschumi, which stand above it. Inside, the Finnish designers Ahonen & Lamberg and architect Linda Bergroth have created a décor composed of geometric forms and cheeful colours.
Its main concert hall is small enough to be intimate (700 people) and features a tree-lined terrace, making it the perfect place for fun, festive concerts and clubbing.
The programming is eclectic and ambitious, offering a mix of the best contemporary music from electro and rock to hip-hop and French chanson. No wonder it’s a favourite hangout for young, trend-conscious Parisians.
