O’djila invites you on a journey to the gypsy music of the Balkans.
Through their music, this quintet expresses the richness and mystery of this Eastern European region, combining subtle gypsy guitars and oriental percussion with warm, colourful vocals and the swing of a double bass.
O’djila’s repertoire is inspired by the gypsy traditions of hybrid culture and music, and based on the folklore of the countries traversed by the Romani people. The group brings a fresh perspective to the genre, revisiting the popular songs adopted by the gypsies during their travels in Eastern Europe. A musical encounter with the very essence of the gypsy soul!
